BLS Heartcode eLearning

Blended learning that includes online and classroom

Have you already taken an online Heartcode class with the American Heart?

Yes I have

Completing Your AHA HeartCode® BLS

After finishing the HeartCode® BLS online course from the American Heart Association, you may complete your in-person skills session in one of two ways:

Option 1: HeartCode BLS Skills Session (Limited Availability)
Register for a dedicated HeartCode BLS class. This session is typically about 30 minutes if you pass skills testing. If additional practice is needed, you will remain for the full standard class.

Option 2: Any BLS Provider Class
Register for any BLS Provider class and attend the full session. Your HeartCode completion certificate allows you to bypass the written exam, saving approximately 30 minutes of classroom time.

In both options, bring your online completion certificate to class.

Important recommendation:
HeartCode BLS is not recommended for first-time or inexperienced CPR students. It is best for those who have taken BLS multiple times and are comfortable with self-paced online learning.
