Heartsaver CPR AED Certification
At In-Pulse CPR, we offer CPR/AED training to help you be prepared to help someone during an emergency. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) instruction is always taught as a part of American Heart Association CPR certification courses. AEDs are a very effective tool, when used along with high-quality CPR techniques. If your office, warehouse, or school has an AED, you need this critical, life-saving AED certification training.
Our instructors offer complete CPR/AED training in an enjoyable and educational environment. We not only provide the information; we also instill the confidence needed to handle any emergency. Once you complete our courses, you’ll leave with CPR certification as well as a wealth of new and useful knowledge.
Heartsaver CPR/AED is no longer offered as a standalone training. Please register for a BLS Provider course instead.

Save Lives: AED Awareness
During cardiac arrest, activity in the heart is disrupted. This can cause a person to lose consciousness due to the lack of oxygen to their vital organs, like the heart and brain. According to the American Heart Association, every second counts and for every minute without CPR, the chance of a person’s death increases by 10 percent.
The use of an AED is the third critical step in life–saving CPR efforts, with the first two being calling 9-1-1 and beginning immediate CPR. Survival from cardiac arrest significantly improves, by double if not triple, with the use of AEDs. With medical response times taking anywhere from four to 10 minutes, it is critical to seek AED certification so you have the knowledge and confidence to use a defibrillator when a person needs it most.

Why Train With & Get Certified by In-Pulse CPR?
In-Pulse CPR has been changing how CPR classes are taught since 2009. While CPR is a lifesaving technique and a critical part of many medical professionals’ jobs, our founder Mollie Bowman found her experience with each renewal getting more and more stagnant and boring in information delivery.
Today, In-Pulse CPR provides valuable lifesaving training on CPR, first aid, and how to use AEDs in a refreshed training environment. AED certification has proved to be a very effective, efficient tool when paired with CPR in saving lives. Having a plan in place — and the proper AED certification — can make a huge difference in many industries such as grocery stores, office buildings, and schools, while waiting for first responders to arrive on scene. The more people know CPR and AED, the more likely someone in an emergency gets the immediate support they need.
Situations that call for CPR/AED include:
- Cardiac arrest
- Near-drowning incidents
- Suffocation
- And any other situation where a person is not breathing
