[American Heart BLS Instructor Renewal]

This Course is for those already aligned with In-Pulse CPR and renewing their Instructor Certification.

THIS CLASS IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

This course is taught by AHA TCF/TCC Mollie Bowman.

-A 3-hour Training Session
-2 Year AHA Instructor certification upon completion of course and follow-up steps.

Here is what is needed in order to renew:

1. Before the Renewal class, submit the following:
   a.  Request and submit the Renewal Form and Data Form via:  christina@inpulsecpr.com
   b.  Confirm 4 or more classes have been taught during your two years.
   (listed on the attached form and rosters already emailed in to christina@inpulsecpr.com)
   c.  Confirm the date that you were monitored.
   (if not yet monitored during this certification, send date options/time/location for us to schedule a Faculty member to attend.)
2.  Attend this renewal course.

If you cannot attend this session and are in compliance with the rest and email Christina, you’re instructor status will be extended until the next course date.  AHA is strict on the expiration dates and the moment someone expires they will disappear from the Instructor Network and not be allowed to instruct classes.  It is the instructor’s responsibility to make sure everything is up to date.

During the class

You will be tested again: the BLS exam and the Instructor exam and have a review of AHA guideline compliance.
You must pass the BLS exam with at least a 92% or you will be required to take the full Instructor course again.

Following the class:
